The competition is open again for the 2009 Photo Competition, we are looking forward to loads of great entries.

The competition is open to everyone, irrespective of the computer you use, the only stipulation is you need to have a validation code. This can be supplied by one of the regional Mac User Groups on the list here.

How to enter

• Get a form from your local Mac User Group, if you have difficulty obtaining a code from one group, please contact another.
• Download entry form, click on blue box
• Obtain validation number from your local Mac User Group. Click here for a list of current MUGs and their contact details.
• Complete your entry, either by post or by entering online. Click here

• 20 March 2009
• Entry is not restricted to members of Macintosh User Groups, but you must obtain a validation code from a group and use it on the entry form!

Competition rules

1. NO LIMIT on number of photos per entrant. Photos may be entered BY POST to the address below OR DIGITALLY to the website below. Not to both please. Please keep a copy of your entry form & validation number .
2. Photo size - maximum on paper, A4; digitally 1024x768 or around 200k to be in .jpg format.
3. Closing date for entries 20 March 2009. Entries received by either means after this date will not be allowed.
4. All entries must have a unique validation number. This number may be obtained from any Mac User Group. The list of MUG contacts is on this site. In case of difficulty in contacting one MUG, try another!
5. The winner will be notified by phone or email by the end of February 2008 and announced, all UK MUGs will be informed. If the winner does not respond within 28 days of notification being sent, the prizes will be offered to another entrant chosen by the judges.
6. The entrant is responsible for obtaining permission of any subject in their photograph.
7. Photographs will become the property of the organisers, copyright will remain with the photographer.
8. All photographs must be suitable for a general audience.
9. The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
